Class Updates

Welcome to SPRING

Yay!  Bring on the warmer weather.

It's great to see some familiar faces returning to class now that we are over the coldest time of the year.  Classes at Camden AH&I Hall are not yet at capacity.  Hesitate no more and get yourself to class and shake off those extra calories that you have consumed over the winter.

In October, I will be starting an Aqua Zumba class - super great for anyone needing to really shift those kilo's, for pregnant woman or for people with knee/ankle/hip problems.  It is great because the water supports your weight making it LOW IMPACT and the resistance from the water makes it a super calorie burning, toning workout.  So watch this space - details announced soon!

We will be having a break from classes over the September/October school holiday period as I will be making my annual dance tour to the USA.  I am excited to be going to some great Zumba, Dance and Fitness classes!  We will break from September 23 - October 9.  When I get back - I look forward to sharing all my new found music and moves with you.  I will be regularly posting on my facebook and also on my US Adventure blog while I am away - so you can come on a virtual holiday with me. :)

SPRING INTO SPRING CLASS SUPER PASS
For the month of August I am offering a Super Pass for all you Super Zumbreros so you can really get yourself ready for the swimwear season!  For the cost of $100 you can come to as many of my Zumba® Fitness classes that you can fit in for the entire month of August.  That's right - you read it correctly - as many classes as you like for $100.  That's $270 worth of classes for just $100.
This pass is only valid for the month of August and is non-refundable and non-transferable.  Wait no longer - passes available at classes all next week!
GOODBYE FRIDAY NIGHT AT RABY
Thanks to everyone who supported my Zumba® Fitness classes at Raby over the past year.  Classes will no longer run at Raby on a Friday evening.  BUT........
SPECIAL FRIDAY NIGHT CLASS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST
For the month of August a special Friday night class will run at Razzle Dazzle Dance Studio in Smeaton Grange.  This class will run for 4 weeks ONLY - so make the most of it!
When: Friday nights during August commencing on August 5, 2011
Time: 6:30pm
Where: Razzle Dazzle Dance Studio, 10/15 McPherson Road, Smeaton Grange.


A21 Campaign Fundraiser
Thanks to everyone who came along last time to sweat for a cause and I thank you in advance for your support of the next event in the campaign.  Remember all proceeds are donated to the A21 Campaign to stop human trafficking and slavery.  Details for the next event are below:

Class for next Thursday night is moving house for the week - we are visitng Camden PS, John St, Camden.  Same time......different venue.  This is for one (1) week only!
Finally - if you haven't managed to make to one of my Zumba® classes this year - it's never too late to give it a go!  Some new routines, some old but always loads of fun and you are sure to have fun, feel fit and look fabulous.

ZUMBA GETS RESULTS!

What some of my Zumbrero's are saying:

"After 2 sessions of zumba this week alone I have lost 1cm off my thighs, bum and arms. And 2cm off my hips. Still more to go but feeling fabulous."

ZUMBA Classes over the school holiday.

Hi Everyone,

During this holiday break all ZUMBA® classes will run as usual except for Friday night at Robert Townson PS in Raby.

This Friday will be the last class in Raby until class resumes in August.

It has been great to see so many of you at classes over the May/June cold snap.  I know that it really pays off coming in the cold - because you burn the extra calories as your body is working hard just to keep you warm and you get the satisfaction of looking great in your bikini on the first warm weekend in the beach season (instead of realising that you need to do something about it when you try to put the swimwear on!).

Don't let the cold weather get you down......

Everyone knows that it is just this initial getting from the house to the car that is the problem.  Once you arrive at class (whether it is dance or Zumba®) I promise that you will be warm in no time!

Some strategies to help you stay motivated.......

- set yourself a target for the number of classes that you must attend each week; buy yourself a 10 class card and set yourself a best before date

- reward yourself when you do make it to your set number of classes each week; give yourself that glass of wine, the chocolate treat or the slice of cake (or the beer for all you beer lovers)

- set yourself a weight loss, body shaping or fitness target.  If you need help with this - come and talk to me after class!

- think about the little treat you can have at the end of the week if you did maintain your 4 classes per week!

- think about how HOT you will look in your bikini on Sept 5 when it is 30 degrees and the first beach day for the season!

Do not put off until tomorrow what you can do today.......

Look forward to seeing all your smiling faces.
